An Analysis of Translator's Subjectivity from the Feminism Perspective

译者作为翻译活动的主体,在翻译实践中起着至关重要的作用。20世纪80年代西方兴起的女性主义翻译观,颠覆了传统的翻译理论,从性别视角入手,强调译者的主体性,力争在译作中凸显女性身份和女性意识。中国译论充分肯定了性别身份在翻译过程中的重要影响,一些女性译者也进行了积极的翻译实践尝试。

It is well recognized that the translators play an important part in the translation practice today. The feminist translation theory,which started in 1980s in the western world,overthrows the traditional translation theory, and from the perspective of gender issues emphasizes the translator＇s subjectivity, especially that of the female translators. Chinese translation theory adequately affirms the importance of the gender factor in the process of the translation, and some Chinese female translators also try to do some positive translation practices.
