Essential qualities of excellent doctors in modern medical mode

随着医学模式由传统生物医学模式向现代生物—心理—社会医学模式转变,世界卫生组织提出了"五星级医生"的概念,要求医生不仅仅是健康的提供者和医疗的决策者,更应该承担起健康教育、社区服务以及医疗服务管理等多个职能。在现代医学模式下,医生担负了更多的角色,角色的多样性要求一名优秀的医生必须具备多方面的素质和能力,可以综合概括为ABCDI五个方面,即志存高远,追求卓越(Amb-ition);打牢基础,厚积薄发(Basement);团结协作,互帮互助(Cooperation);爱岗敬业,甘于奉献(Devotion);开拓进取,锐意创新(Innovation)。

With the transition of the medical mode from traditional biomedical mode to modem biological-psychological-social medicine mode, WHO provided the conception of ＂five-star doctors＂, which requires the functions of doctors to contain not only the providers and makers of health, but also many aspects including health education, community services and health services management, etc. In modem biological-psychological-social medicine mode, an excellent doctor should play multiple roles and correspondingly has a variety of qualities and abilities, which can be outlined in ＂ABCDI＂ 5 points, that is, ambition, basement, cooperation, devotion and innovation.
