摘要
本工作试验了两种稀土掺杂石英光纤的受激光放大效应。采用氩离子激光(514.5nm),激励掺钕~3ppm的多模光纤,在1.064μm波长处光放大1.7倍,带宽≥29nm;激励掺铒~1200ppm的单模光纤,在1.52μm波长处光放大2~9倍,带宽≥20nm。
We here report amplification of the two kinds of Rare-Earth ions doped silica optical fibres. When using Ar^(+)ion laser pump, 1.7 time signal amplification at λ=1.064μm in a Nd^(3+)ion (~ 30ppm) doped multimode fibre and 2 ~ 9 time at λ = 1.52#m in an Er^(3+)ion (~2900ppm) doped single-mode optical fibres have been ob- tained. Their bandwidth were≥29nm and≥20nm respectively.
