On the CPC's Concept of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics

邓小平理论、"三个代表"重要思想以及科学发展观等重大战略思想构成中国特色社会主义理论体系的三大基本形态,是中国共产党人建国60年来艰辛探索的理论成果。从理论源头上看,以毛泽东为首的中国共产党人在20世纪50年代就开始了对中国特色社会主义的探索。改革开放以来,中国共产党以"什么是社会主义,怎样建设社会主义"为主题继续探索并在实践中开辟有中国特色社会主义道路,因而可以说,改革开放以来中国共产党取得一切成绩和进步的根本原因,归结起来就是:开辟了中国特色社会主义道路,形成了中国特色社会主义理论体系。高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜,最根本的就是要坚持这条道路和这个理论体系。

Deng Xiaoping theory and ＂ three represents＂ thought and the scientific concept of development constitute the three basic forms of socialist theory system with Chinese characteristics, which is a theoretical explo- ration from the establishment of the Chinese Communist Party in the pest 60 years. From the perspective of theory on the source, Communists, led by Mao Zedong in the 1950s of the 20th century began the exploration of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Since the beginning of reform and opening up, the Chinese Communist Party takes ＇ what is socialism and how to build socialism＂ as the theme to continue to explore and open up Socialist road in practice. Therefore, we can say that the cause of all the achievements and progress lie in the reason that opening up the Socialist road with Chinese characteristics, and then forming a system of socialist theory with Chinese character- istics. Holding the great banner of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, the most fundamental thing is to persist on this path and the theory of systems.
