The issue of the nature of translation is primary and important in translation theory. Through the analysis of thedefinition of translation by Linguistic School theorists, the writer of this paper explores the nature of translation from theperspective of the traditional and modern interpreting models and concludes that the Linguistic School＇s exploration willmake the theoretical study of this school be in constant development.
