The Refinement of Socialist Economic Construction Experience in Summing Up Ten Years

毛泽东《十年总结》一文对新中国成立十年来特别是"大跃进"时期社会主义经济建设的经验作了深刻的提炼,主要体现在三个方面:一是自觉认识到社会主义经济建设有自身的特殊规律;二是主张经济发展应遵循实事求是的原则,号召压低高指标、高速度;三是主张制定经济发展计划应留有余地,不能留缺口。

Mao Tsetung＇s paper, Summing Up Ten Years, is a profound refinement of socialist economic con- stmction experience during the ten years since the founding of People＇s Repulic of China, especially in the period of ＂the Great Leap Forward＂. The refinement mainly focuses on the following three aspects： firstly, realizing consciously that socialist economic construction has its own specific laws; secondly,advocating that economic development should follow the principle of seeking truth ~om facts and call for lowering high targets and high speed of economic develop- ment; thirdly asserting that economic development plans should be worked out flexibly, but not deficiently.
