By studying the data of serve speeds from the four Grand Slam men's singles tennis 2002-2011,this paper made the following conclusions: the game of tennis has been changing greatly over the last ten years, serve speed continues to increase,as does the number of ACEs,while the number of double faults is decreasing;the average serve speed is related to player's height,Match winners are typically one or two cm taller than their opponents and serve 2-4 km/ hr faster on average;on all courts surfaces, the dominance of player's service game is increasing, especially at Wimbledon, the percentage of tiebreak is the largest;the average serve speed increased at French Open, but the number of ACEs is still well below the number of ACES at the other three Grand Slams.
