本文探讨自然语言的生物性、语言和心智、大脑之间的关系,并且阐述有关语言生成机制的主要理论的发展状况。本文提出思维不是由语言决定的,而是通过语言进行传输,语言是连接心智与环境之间的桥梁,人类要表达自我才是语言进化的动因。

This paper discusses the biological feature, co-relationships between language, brain and mind, and summarizes the major development of the extant theories on the generative mechanism of language. The paper points out that mind is not decided by language, but transported via language. Language provides the bridge between mind and environment and expressing oneself is the core reason for language evolution.
