摘要
Kasher主张用理性原则取代合作原则,认为理性化原则比合作原则更具解释力。本文对比分析后发现,理性是会话理论的应有之义,这种取代不必要。二者的理性概念侧重不同,Kasher的修订注意到会话理论的工具理性而忽视了合作背后的论证理性,但它却引发了语用研究对合作背后思想的挖掘,对合作原则是一种间接的拯救。
Kasher insists on replacing Cooperative Principle with Rationality Principle, claiming that Rationalization Principle is more powerful. Comparisons are made to show that Kasherian rationality is instrumental while, on the other hand, the Gricean one is fundamentally substantial and argumentative. This study concludes that although unnecessary, Kasher’s effort is a rescue of CP by orienting researchers’ attention to what’s lying behind CP.
