Aim\ To study the dispersion of individual CCD pixels and its rectification. MethodsUsing a uniformly illuminated object, recording the digital image from CCD camera, and the correction coefficient for each pixel can be calculated and used for compensating the dispersion of response. Results\ Much clearer picture can be got with this method. Conclusion\ The noise due to the nonuniform responsivity of the CCD pixels can be effectively eliminated with this method.
