摘要
研究小波变换在粗晶材料超声成像检测中的应用。为了克服粗晶材料晶粒噪声对超声图像质量的影响 ,利用超声图像小波系数的统计特性 ,提出了一种自适应子带图像选择算法。该算法提高了基于小波变换的超声图像增强技术的实用性。实验结果表明 ,在粗晶材料超声成像检测中通过本算法处理能够得到高质量的超声检测图像。
In the paper, the application of wavelet transform to the ultrasonic imaging detection of coarse grain materials is discussed. In order to reduce the effect of background noise associated with the grain boundaries, an adaptive optimal sub-band choosing algorithm is presented, which utilizes the statistical characteristics of the wavelet coefficients of ultrasonic images. The proposed algorithm greatly raises the practicability of the image improvement technique based on the wavelet transform. The experimental results show that high quality ultrasonic images can be obtained by applying the proposed algorithm to ultrasonic imaging detection of coarse materials.
