Design on Network Application Based on MUX interface for Embedded Operating System

针对风河公司的嵌入式实时操作系统(VxWorks)的网络驱动及应用程序开发设计,介绍了VxWorlks的增强型网络驱动程序(END)及其结构,对工作在END和网络协议层之间的多元接口层(MUX)的工作原理和程序设计框架进行了详细论述,并结合在VxWorks系统下发送UDP广播包的实例,给出了基于MUX接口的嵌入式网络应用程序设计流程,对所有基于MUX机制下的VxWorks网络应用程序的开发具有参考价值。

Aiming at the development of network application in WindRiver＇s embedded real-time operating system VxWorks, this paper presents the enhanced network driver and its structure, and introduces in detail the theory and basic framework of MUX interface which operates between the END and the Network layer. With the example of sending UDP broadcast package by using MUX interface in the VxWorks system, this paper presents the development process of network application based on MUX interface, which may have a reference value for the development of VxWorks application in MUX-based mechanism.
