摘要
"理解"是交替传译过程中最重要的环节之一。丹尼尔.吉尔认为口译员的理解是由"语言知识"和"言外知识"所共同决定的。研究表明,交传译员的语言知识和言外知识的确存在相互作用的关系。两者之间的关系可能是互相促进,但也有可能是互相干扰。只有在言外知识进入口译员"活化的长期记忆"时,才能更好地促进译员的"理解"。这一结论对于交替传译教学模式的改进与创新具有启示意义。
Comprehension is an important link in the process of consecutive interpreting.Daniel Gile proposes that interpreters' comprehension is decided by the interaction between knowledge of the language(KL) and extra-linguistic knowledge(ELK).Our experiment shows that the interaction between KL and ELK does exist,but it can be either positive or negative.Only a good command of KL plus systematic ELK can guarantee interpreters' performance.Such learning is rather useful for improving and innovating training models in teaching consecutive interpreting.
