The master of Lingustics,Lv Shuxiang,is not only a grammarian,an educator of Chinese,but also a rhetorician and a practitioner of rhetoric.Mr Lv dedicated all his life to rhetoric research,and always followed and supported the healthy development of rhetoric.His important contributions are： the groundbreaking research provided the new model of rhetoric research;the unique concept of rhetoric promoted the development to rhetoric;he created a platform for promoting academic exchange and discovered and trained excellent rhetoricians.
