Review on the Application of Cloud Computing in the Libraries

简述云计算的定义、特点及其为图书馆工作及服务带来的便利,分析国内外云计算技术在图书馆领域的应用案例,提出存在的弊端及改进策略,包括应用到图书馆的理论与实证研究、信息资源建设与共享、服务研究与管理等方面。

The paper briefly introduces the definition, characteristics of cloud computing as well as the facility brought to library work and services, analyzes the cases of cloud computing technology using in libraries both in China and abroad, puts forward existing shortcomings and improving strategies, including the theoretical and empirical study in its application in libraries, information resources construction and sharing, service research and management, etc.
