摘要
课题以英国"学习能量"理论及其测量工具为主要研究手段,针对中学生undera-chievement即"成绩缺憾("国内学界统称为"学业不良)"问题,对"成绩缺憾"中学生的学习能量特点,及利用其来改善该学生群的学习质量和成绩进行研究。研究采用多种定量和定性手段相结合,探索如何将学习能量理念用于中国的教育环境,建立以学生学习为中心的最佳教学模式。
The project is designed to be a pilot study of the learning power of underachieving adolescents in China and adopts a mixed-methods methodology.It aims to develop a Chinese version of Effective Lifelong Learning Inventory(ELLI),an assessment tool measuring learning power,through a reliability and validation study,and meanwhile explore its application in addressing underachievement issues at Chinese schools via learning power based interventions.It will also investigate how the concept of underachievement,which is yet to have an appropriate equivalent in the Chinese educational lexicology,is perceived by Chinese teachers and students.
