With the increasing of demand for reclaimed water, it becomes an inevitable trend to improve the wastewater treatment plant effluent quality. In conditions of limited land, the MBR process is widely used in wastewater treatment plant building and upgrading project. This article introduces the types and main equipments of MBR process, focuses on the common problems analysis of the equipments structure and operation, and recommendations are put forward for the selection of equipment.
