党的十七届六中全会标志着具有中国特色的社会主义先进文化建设进入了一个前所未有的大繁荣大发展的黄金时期。作为中国公安事业和高等教育事业有机组成部分的公安大学,要充分认识文化传承创新在推进中国特色社会主义事业建设、推进公安工作和公安队伍建设、推进公安高等院校改革发展中的重大意义,科学把握文化传承创新的方法要求,扎实推进文化传承创新战略的实施,发挥文化育警功能,为建设具有中国特色的社会主义文化强国做出自己的贡献。
