In foreign trade negotiations, business English as a professional English has played an increasingly important role. For English, most vocabularies are polysemous. This paper made a theoretical introduction to prototype theory, metaphor and language situation, analyzed the guidance of them for studying polysemous words, and expanded ways and strategies of foreign trade negotiations.
