The differentiations between the new and old versions in the most commonly used five basic immu- nity national standards （ electrostatic discharge, RF radiation electromagnetic field, electrical fast transient burst, surge,voltage dips,short interruptions and variations,etc. ） were discussed, the understanding for these differences was given, and some questions in these standards in the implementation process by testers were answered.
