The electronic clipping is a digital technology under the conditions of the characteristic service of the library, which involves complex issues of copyright. The article analyzes the clippings resources copyright nature and attribution of right, elaborates the clippings collection, edition, propaga- tion, utilization and possible infringement problem in clipping work, and proposes the copyright protection strategies of clipping work.
