摘要
为满足100Gb/s光纤通信的需求,提出了非二进制LDPC码编码调制(NB-LDPC-CM)方案。该方案通过使用频谱效率调制以及非二进制前向纠错LDPC码,提供了一种在高总比特率下实现可靠通信的前向纠错机制。与现有的BI-LDPC-CM方案相比,该方案在误比特率(BER)为10-7的情况下,采用16点、32点、和64点四维星座图时,额外提供的净编码增益分别为0.26dB、1.14dB和2.14dB。
In this paper,we propose a nonbinary LDPC-coded modulation(NB-LDPC-CM) scheme,in order to meet the need of beyond 100Gb/s optical fiber communication.Using spectrally-efficient modulation formats and nonbinary LDPC codes for forward error correction(FEC),the proposed scheme offers an advanced FEC to accomplish reliable communication at high aggregate bit rates.Compared with the BER performance of the prior-art bit-interleaved LDPC-coded modulation(BI-LDPC-CM),at the bit error rate(BER) of 10-7,NB-LDPC-CM offers additional 0.26dB,1.14dB and 2.14dB in terms of net coding gains when 16-points,32-points,and 64-points constellations are used,respectively.
