1992年 ,我国各类区域的对外开放都形成了自己的鲜明特色。沿海地区在原来先行一步开放的基础上 ,又向世界敞开了许多新领域 ;沿边地区利用自身地缘优势 ,成为对我国相邻国家开放的“前沿”;沿江地区充分利用黄金水道 ,共舞长江巨龙 ;内陆地区则“借船出海”,通过沿海、沿边、沿江地区扩大对外开放。

In 1992, the opening up in all kinds of regions in our country has formed the distinctive features of its own. The coastal regions have furthered their opening to the outside world; the border regions have taken full geographical advantages of their own and become the front opening areas to our neighboring countries; the regions along the Yangtze River have made full use of the golden waterway; and the inner regions have enlarged the opening up by taking the available advantages of the above three regions.
