以马钢某钢轧总厂MES系统为例,阐述了钢铁行业制造执行系统的功能模块设计和制造执行系统与其他信息系统进行数据交换可采用的通讯方式设计,说明了制造执行系统在钢铁行业信息化中的重要地位和广阔前景。

The function module design of manufacturing execution system （MES） and the communication mode de- sign for data exchange between MES and other information systems in the steel industry are presented based on the case of a MES system in a steelmaking plant of Masteel. The important role and broad prospect of MES in the informa- tization of the steel industry is demonstrated.
