Under the guidance of the principle of spirit-oriented transference of meaning,a comparative analysis is conducted of three Chinese versions of the figure Characteristics of Categories on Three Levels in Experiential Hierarchies and a different translation is given.On that basis,the paper discusses the approaches to achieve spirit-oriented transference of meaning in E-C translation.
