摘要
近年来,在我国一些主流商业片中出现了凸显儒家文化负面缺陷,"佛教文化"以正面价值出场的现象。这些电影的主旨并不在于传达佛教的文化价值和哲学意义,其背后是经过西方文化修改过的实利主义。在大众文化的符号系统中,佛教如同一座搭建在现代与传统之间的观念桥梁,成为倦怠的现代人对古代生活的想象。本文认为,作为基本的思维方式,常识理性成了沟通古今中外的关节点,不管是儒家文化、佛教文化还是西方文化,都应在它的审视下进行;作为公理性的观念价值,它也应在当下国家形象的建构中发挥重要的作用。
In recent years, Buddhist culture is often represented as positive values while Confucian culture often appears as negative in many China made blockbusters. However, these produetions are not in the least intended to advocate Buddhist culture and philosophy. What is behind is actually a Westernized pragmatism. Buddhism is nothing more than an imagination of listless modern people to an ideal ancient life, a conceptual bridge that links the modern and the traditional. But the real interface of the ancient and the present, the domestic and the foreign should be common sense and reason that, as a basic mode of thinking, tests the thinking in all cultures including Confueiam, Buddhism, and the Western culture. The values of self-evident truth should play a key role in the on-going construction of national image.
