摘要
IPv6是IETF设计用于替换现行版本IP协议IPv4的下一代互联网协议。本文首先介绍了IPv4的局限性,阐述了IPv6的技术优势,并探讨了从IPv4到IPv6的过渡技术,最后对IPv6的应用前景提出展望。
IPv6 is the next generation Internet Protocol designed by IETF, applied to substitute for the existing IPv4. This article introduces the limitations of IPv4, and elaborates the technology and advantage of IPv6, studies on the transition technology from IPv4 to IPv6. Finally, this article puts forward prospect of the application of IPv6.
