Luxun and Modern Culture

鲁迅是中国现代文学史上一个被无限接近却又似乎永远无法到达的话题,五四新文化运动以来,从鲁迅作品中延伸出的关于国民性改造、中西方文化碰撞等话题的论争几乎从未停息。文章从个体、群体、文化与时代关系等角度,揭示走近鲁迅其人其文的现代意义,在全球化背景下,国人如何做出合理的文化选择、确证自身乃至民族身份提供有价值的参考。

Luxun seems to be the most reachable and unreachable topic in the history of Chinese modern literature.Since the May Fourth Movement,the arguments upon the change of people＇s ideas,the cultural conflicts of the West and China in Luxun＇s works have been continuing.The paper concerns the modern significance of Lunxun as a person as well as his works from the viewpoints of the relation of individual,group,culture and time.It is hoped to serve as a reference for people to choose their national and cultural identity in the context of gloablaization.
