老舍小说既善于在中外文化冲突和碰撞中揭示人性普遍的弱点,又能全面描摹人性的善恶,更不忘关注现代文明对人性的异化。这深刻地反映了老舍对传统文化的反思和批判,也是他面对传统和现代的抉择时给出的答案。
Lao She＇s novels on the one hand reveal general human weaknesses, on the other hand comprehensively portray both the good and evil sides of humanity. What＇ s more, they also look into the conversion of humanity caused by modem civilization. All these deeply show Lao She＇s self-reflection and criticism to traditional culture as well as his answer to the choice of traditional and modem cultures.
