On Challenges to the Competence for Social Integration of the Ruling Party Arising from the Division of Social Stratum in China and Countermeasures

改革开放以来,我国社会阶层结构发生了剧烈分化。这是社会的进步,但同时也对执政党的社会整合能力提出了严重挑战。迎接挑战必须加强党的利益整合、政治整合和意识形态整合,增强党的阶级基础,扩大党的群众基础,巩固党的执政地位。

Since reform and opening-up,social stratum in China has undergone dramatic changes,which is a sign of social progress and yet brings about great challenges to the competence for social integration of the ruling party at the same time.Therefore,to meet the challenges,it is imperative to strengthen the integration of the ruling party′s interests,political thoughts and ideology,to enhance the class foundation of the party and expand its mass base,and to consolidate the ruling position of the party.
