美国社区学院可持续发展理念的实践与启示——以美国雷恩社区学院为例

A Report on Sustainable Practice of American Community College —An On-site Study of Sustainability in Lane Community College

目前,社区学院在推进美国可持续发展战略上的作用日益凸显。本论文以雷恩社区学院为例,分析和揭示社区学院在推进可持续发展战略上的角色和措施。研究发现,为美国绿色经济发展培养绿色劳动力是社区学院推进可持续发展的首要任务,推进社区的可持续发展是更高目标,创建可持续发展的学校,为社区可持续发展提供范例是推进社区可持续发展的重要策略。其对我国高职院校发展的借鉴意义在于:明确高职院校在国家可持续发展战略中的地位和作用,并通过促进校长和教师专业发展、加强课程与专业建设、注重学校多样性、帮助学生成功等策略推进可持续发展。

At present, community colleges play a more important role in the sustainability in America. With an on-site study of sustainable practice in Lane Community College, this study finds out that training green workforce for green job is the basic task, enhancing the sustainability of the whole community is the higher goal, and offering exemplary for community is the important strategy. It also finds out that higher vocational colleges should play a central role in the national sustainability in China, and higher vocational colleges should promote their capacity to support sustainability.
