Li Bai is one of the greatest poets in Tang Dynasty whose most poems are not bounded by the rhythm.Instead he pursues creative freedom,so his metrical poetry has always been highly debated by poetry critics.The paper analyzes some characteristics of Li Bai＇s metrical poetry,and explores the reasons for the formation of them.
