In many Alice Walker＇s fictions,hypocrisy of Christianity is criticized to advocate primitive religions based on animism as an alternative and for religion diversity.For Walker,these plain primitive religions are superior to narrow-minded Christianity in aspects such as a respect to woman,nature and humanity.All starts from a different interpretation of the image of the God by these primitive religions,which,on the other hand,can sometimes be used as a weapon against the unequal reality.
