This paper focuses on introducing the CORS appIication in urban engineering survey of Dalian, analyzes the system components, working principle and technological superiority of the CORS. It also further discusses the main applications of the CORS technology in Dalian engineering control survey, plotting, setting - out survey, constructing layout, cadastral survey, and construction land delimitation survey. Compared with the traditional methods, the CORS has more superiority and application prospect in the future.
