This paper is to define the skinflaps of the lateral parts of the legand foot.The lateral leg flap is ra-ised by the peroneal vessels and theirterminal perforators,while the ante-rolateral leg flap is supported by theaccompanying vessels of supericfialperoneal nerve.The arterial pedicleof the superolateral malleolus flap isthe ascending branch of the perforatorof peroneal artery.The arteries ofthe lateral foot flap are of 4 sources,among which the lateral calcaneusartery and the descending branch ofthe perforator of peroneal artery areof choice.
