《统计学导论》教改实验在美国——GAISE建议的主要内容及其启示 被引量:4

摘要 对美国统计协会(ASA)2005年发布的"统计学评估和教育指导纲要"(GAISE),特别是对纲要提出的6项建议及它所提供的有关教改配套措施进行了评介。在此基础上,探讨了该纲要对我国大学统计学教学改革可能带来的几点启发,其中包括应进一步提高统计教育的地位,突出统计分析主线,强化探索性数据分析在统计学课本中的作用,利用计算机辅助教学将描述统计和推断统计二者有机地联系起来,适当增加实验设计基础知识等。 This paper explores briefly the'Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education'(GAISE)endorsed by the American Statistics Association(ASA)in 2005,with a special focus on its six recommendations and the ancillary teaching aids.And it looks at a few positive influences that GAISE could have upon educating college students in China,including strengthening the educational role of statistics,focusing on the genuine techniques of statistical analysis,giving more attention to exploratory data analysis(EDA),introducing computer assisted instruction(CAI)to bridge the teaching of descriptive and inferrential statistics,adding some basic ideas of design of experiment(DOE),improving classroom interactions between the teacher and student and making a blanket plan to re-shape statistics education for pre-kindergarten and primary and secondary school children.
