This paper proceeds from current exist problems of recommendation service and the advantage of chance discovery in some aspects such as weak signal and tacit knowledge, discussing that chance discovery can expand the data analysis and discover tacit infor- mation, as well as satisfy the demand of long-tail. Constant attention has been paid to chance and users, so that user demand should be grasped exactly and the quality of recommendation service can be improved by enhancing the key function of interaction between expert and system.
