The article makes a detailed research on anti-acquisition tactics.Through the analysis on typical cases,the article finds out that anti-acquisition tactics can effectively contain the smooth implementation of vicious acquisitions,which is significant for maintaining interests of listed firms and their shareholders.Successful anti-acquisition measures include employee shareholding plan,white knight,articles of association,lawsuit,and poison pills.
