On Feminist Literature in Macao

澳门是中国一个曾经特殊、现在依然有些特殊的地域;但是她的文学历史则由近于元典的中华文化作为"脐带"所连接。澳门女性文学的星火肇始于民初,历经20世纪五六十年代的缓慢发展,至80年代才借大陆文学之春风而欣欣向荣,其小说、散文、诗歌均有可以跻身中华文学历史之佳作。

Macao has been and ＇,still is a special region of China. Nevertheless, her history of literature has an umbilical relation with the classics of Chinese culture. The feminist literature of Macao was initiated at the beginning of the Republic period, went through a slow development during 1950s and 1960s, and marched towards prosperity in 1980s under the impact of literature spring of the mainland. Masterpieces, which deserve to be ranked in the history of Chinese literature, can be found in all the genres of fiction, prose and poetry.
