略论闽北家族谱牒字辈排行诗的内容及功用

Content and function of the ranking in generation name of the genealogy in the north Fujian

谱牒是一种以特殊形式记载家族的发展史,可谓是一家一族的"百科全书"。其中的字辈排行诗是几千年来宗法社会重视门第望族的特有产物。本文试从闽北现存的众多谱牒中,探讨其内容及功用,旨在汲取闽北家族教育中有益的历史传承养分,有利于发扬家族文化和民族文化精髓,有助于闽北家族道德的重建。

The genealogy,a kind of special written form of the history of family,can be called ＂encyclopedia＂ of a family tree,of which the ranking in generation name is a unique product of the people value family pedigree for thousands of years in patriarchal society.This article attempts to discuss their contents and functions of numerous genealogies which still exist in the north Fujian,aiming at taking beneficial nutrients from the traditional family education in the north Fujian,which is in favour of carrying forward clan culture and the essence of Chinese national culture and reconstructing of the moral of family.
