中华历史断代工程研究,因受西周以来中华人文地理中心"西部说"或"周秦始祖西来说"的影响,背弃了中原为中华人文地理历史发源地的既定认同。由于春秋时期周朝史典丢失和中原人文地理遗迹被黄河湮灭等原因,导致华夏始祖之地被人为地转移到了中原西部一带,又反过来向中原中东部倒流,华夏历史由此开始混乱。为此,有必要对一些重要人文地理历史传承进行客观论证,以改变夏、商、周人文历史至今难以自圆其说的尴尬局面。
