Research on Monetary Constitution of Western Scholars

面对历史上的恶性通胀以及货币发行机关的恣意行为,西方学者提出了货币宪法概念,希望通过立宪来规范货币发行权。布坎南、弗里德曼等是这一领域的杰出代表。也有学者如哈耶克、霍维茨等,则希望建立开放的、竞争性的货币机制。就目前而言,货币宪法学尚未形成独立的学科,也未能建立起系统的理论体系,从而为相关的研究留下了巨大的空间。

Faced with the malignant inflation and wanton behavior of currency authority,western scholars proposed the concept of monetary constitution.Buchanan,Friedman is the outstanding representative of this field.There are also scholars such as Hayek and Horwitz who hope to build an open and competitive monetary regime.Currently,an independent and systematic discipline has not taken shape,which leaves a huge research field on monetary constitution.
