既雕既琢 复归于朴——就钱学森之评价与叶永烈先生商榷

Carving and Chiseling,Involuting to Simplicity——a discussion with Ye Yonglie concerning the evaluation of Qian Xuesen

杰出科学家已成为当代综合国力竞争最宝贵的资源之一,而关于杰出科学家的评价则对优秀人才的成长、科学精神的弘扬、社会进步的推动有无可估量的影响。钱学森是当代世界著名科学家,有杰出的科学贡献和非凡的人格魅力,然而关于钱学森的评价也存在不同的声音。值此钱学森诞生100周年之际,本文通过钱学森"万斤亩"公案,立足于钱学森思想发展的自然过程和中国社会历史变迁的背景,从资料考证、思想方法、评价基旨等三个方面对钱学森思想中的社会性一面,提出历史唯物主义的合理解释,并对叶永烈先生的过度辩护提出不同看法,以期复归钱学森先生质朴可亲的自然本色,并通过本文的初步研究,促进实事求是评价杰出科学家的良好学风。

Outstanding scientists have contemporarily become the most valuable resources in the competition of overall national strength. The evaluation of the outstanding scientists has immeasurable influences on the growth of talents, promotion of the scientific spirit, and promotion of social progress. With outstanding scientific contributions and extraordinary personal charisma, Qian Xuesen, has been considered as the contemporary world-renowned scientist ; however there are also different voices on the evaluation of himself. On the occasion of the lOOth anniversary of Qian Xuesen, this paper makes a reasonable interpretation of the historical materialism of his thinking in the social perspective, and puts forward different views on the undue apologies for Qian by Mr. Ye Yonglie in order to revert to Qian Xuesen＇s amiable simplicity of the natural character. This paper intends to promote a good style of study as regards the realistic evaluation of outstanding scientists.
