A Brief Analysis on Yongjia Chess Clique of Ming Dynasty

温州明代围棋运动十分繁荣,溯其源首推刘基父子。到明中期永嘉、新安、京师三大流派鼎足而立,永嘉鲍一中品居第一。万历年间,方子谦兄弟名噪一时。本文系统论述永嘉棋派源流,并对其代表人物生平一一进行考证。

To trace the origin of the prosperity of the game of go in Wenzhou in Ming Dynasty, it was Liuji and his son who led the field.
