Application of Organic Chromium in Animal Feed

铬作为有葡萄糖耐量因子（Glucose Tolerance Factor，GTF）的重要活性组成成分，能够影响糖、脂类、蛋白质和核酸代谢。在畜禽日粮中添加有机铬可减轻应激反应，增强免疫力，改善内分泌，促进动物生长，提高繁殖性能，改善胴体组成。本文综述了有机铬的生物学功能及其在饲料中的应用效果。

Chromium, one of the important components of glucose tolerance factor （ GTF）, can affect the metabolism of sugar, fat, protein and nucleic acid. Supplement of organic chromium in animal diets can reduce the stress response, enhance immunity activity, promote growth and reproductive performance, and improve carcass compositions. This article mainly reviewed the biological function of organic chromium as well as its application in animal feed.
