Among several poets in Beat Generation who were interested in Zen euhure, Gary Snyder was the unique one who traveled afar to the Zen institutes of Japan to receiving devout training, being based on pious religious eultural spirit. During this period, he gained profound Zen experienees, and his Zen status was greatly promoted, his enlightenment was confirmed by his Zen master. Furthermore, in his poetry, Snyder fully illustrated the concept of ＂Dao in common life＂, thus imposing his poetry with special Zen aesthetic state.
