Compared with the check variety, the vines of vine-tip, original stock and stock of virus-free sweet potato variety——Beijing 553 grew quickly and storage root expanded earlier. It had great photosynthesis area and intensity, and rational T/R ratio. Its photosynthesis matter accumulation was mainly distributed to vines in early stage and moved to storage root speedily in middle and late stage. It had harmonious source-sink relationship and two storage root swelling peaks, at 50～70 and 90～110d after transplanted.
