摘要
采用英语阅读焦虑量表和英语阅读策略调查问卷等,使用SPSS18.0统计软件,调研了314名非英语专业学生英语阅读焦虑状况。数据分析结果表明:非英语专业学生阅读焦虑呈中度焦虑程度;阅读焦虑的影响因素分别是阅读水平评价、阅读兴趣和自信、阅读难度、文化认同感、阅读动机和习惯、词汇语法的熟悉度以及阅读方法等;阅读焦虑与英语阅读策略、阅读成绩以及性格类型呈负相关。鉴于此,在日常英语阅读教学中,英语教师应该采取有效对策,降低高职学生的阅读焦虑心理,提高其英语阅读水平。
This study is intended for the empirical study on English Reading Anxiety of 314 non-English major students by means of Foreign Language Reading Anxiety Statistics, and EnglJish Reading; Strategy Scale. The find- ings of research by applying statistic software SPSS18.0 are as follows: The non-English major students with English reading anxiety are in a medium degree ; there are seven factors causing the anxiety : reading level assessment, read- ing interest and confidence, reading difficulty, cultural identity, reading motivation and habits, vocabulary and grammar knowledge, and the reading method. English reading anxiety has significant negative correlations with English reading strategy, English reading performance and personality type. In view of these findings, teachers are required to adopt some effective measures in daily English reading teaching so as to relieve anxiety of vocational college students for the purpose of enhancing their English reading performance.
