摘要
代谢组学是后基因时代发展起来的一门新的组学技术,是系统生物学的重要组成部分。它应用现代的分析技术和数据处理方法对生命体内的小分子代谢物进行全面研究,揭示机体生命活动代谢的本质。与基因组学、转录组学、蛋白质组学不同,代谢组学研究的是生物事件的终点,可以与生物事件建立直接关系。现就代谢组学在疾病诊断、治疗监测、病理研究及器官移植等领域中的应用予以综述。
Metabonomics is a new "omics" technology emerging after genomics,transcriptomics and proteomics in the post-genomic era.It is an important component of systems biology.Metabonomics employs modern analytical technologies and data analysis methods for studying low molecular weight compounds in biological systems and revealing the nature of metabolism.Unlike other "omics" technologies,metabonomics elucidates the end points of biological events and are directly related to biological process.This biotechnology has the potential for significant clinical impact.Here is to make a review on the present status of metabonomics application in disease diagnosis,monitoring therapy,pathophysiology,and organ transplantation etc..
