膀胱尿路上皮癌组织中TWIST蛋白表达及其临床意义 被引量:3

Expression and clinical significance of TWIST protein in urothelial bladder cancer

摘要 目的:探讨TWIST在膀胱癌组织中的表达情况,并分析其与临床病理特征及复发的关系。方法:膀胱尿路上皮癌标本65例,正常膀胱组织标本8例,采用免疫组织化学方法检测两组标本组织中TWIST蛋白的表达,并结合临床资料进行分析。结果:65例膀胱癌组织和8例正常膀胱组织中TWIST阳性率分别为69.2%(45/65)和0,TWIST蛋白在膀胱癌组织中的表达水平与患者的年龄、性别及肿瘤的数目无关(U值分别为0.780、1.122、0.810,P>0.05),但与膀胱癌组织的组织分化程度、肿瘤的分期以及复发具有显著相关性(U值分别为8.375、3.277、2.255,P<0.05)。随着膀胱癌细胞分化越差,浸润越深,TWIST蛋白染色阳性率逐渐上升,TWIST阳性率升高,提示复发风险增加。结论:TWIST蛋白表达在膀胱癌组织中明显高于正常组织,TWIST蛋白表达与膀胱癌的分级、分期、复发有关,与患者年龄、性别、肿瘤数目无相关性。检测TWIST蛋白有助于膀胱癌的诊断与预后的评估。 Objective:To explore the expression and significance of TWIST in bladder cancer,analyze its correlations with clinicopathologic characters and recurrence of bladder cancer.Methods:The expression of TWIST protein in 65 specimens of bladder cancer and 8 specimens of normal bladder tissues was detected by immunohistochemtry,and its correlations to clinicopathologic features was analyzed.Results:TWIST was detected in 59 cases(69.2%) of bladder cancer and zero in the normal bladder tissues.TWIST expression had no correlation with age,gender and the number of tumor(U value were 0.780,1.122,0.810,P0.05),while it had significant correlation with degree of tumor differentiation,TMN stage and recurrence(U value were 8.375,3.277,2.255,P0.05).The severe differentiation was and the deeper infiltration was,the higher positive expression of TWIST was.The increase of TWIST positive expression indicated higher rate of recurrence.Conclusions:The expression of TWIST protein was higher in bladder cancer patients.The positive rate of TWIST protein expression is related with tumor differentiation,TMN stage and recurrence,but not with sex,age,tumor number.The detection of TWIST protein expression is helpful in diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of bladder cancer.
